Sunstone tumbled stone

The name "sunstone" is used for specimens with inclusions of feldspar that produce bright metallic flashes when light - an optical phenomenon is known as "aventurescence." Thus they seem to shine from within so are a good stone for those on a spiritual discovery path. With obvious correspondences to the element of fire we also have representations of authenticity, originality, freedom, individuality, optimism, adventure and leadership as well as healing energy and the vital life force of the universe.
